Seth Parker – Coach
Athletics have always been a part of Seth’s life, from when he started playing soccer in elementary school outside Chicago, where he grew up, throughout high school. After graduating college, it wasn’t until his late twenties that he started seriously taking his health and fitness a little more seriously. He was introduced to CrossFit during Kathy’s Boot Camp in May 2008, and soon found that he had become in better shape at 35 while following the functional training regimen that CrossFit provides, than ten years prior using conventional training methods.
Seth has been active in CrossFit for over three years now, is one of the owners, and a coach. He found that some of the injuries that he has suffered from over the years, that were aggravated by conventional fitness machines, were minimally impacting his life while on the CrossFit program. The program allowed him to work around his injuries and even overcome some of them. This made the CrossFit program, and CrossFit Maximus, an integral part of his life, and his passion.
