The New Year is upon us, and it’s time to make your new year’s resolutions to get in shape, and get on track to leading a healthier lifestyle!  CrossFit Maximus’ next Paleo challenge is on the books with a new format and all new seminars held at a more convenient time!  This 30 Paleo Challenge is set to be the best one yet! The cost to participate in this challenge will be $35, and there will be prizes for the winning team.

Food for thought:  Your results (and success) from this challenge will be dictated by how serious and focused you are during this challenge.  As they say, “the proof is in the pudding.”  If you stick to your guns, be honest with your choices, and devote yourself to giving this lifestyle a chance for 30 days, the results are almost fool-proof.  This lifestyle can add years to your life, and improve its quality!  What do you have to lose? It’s just 30 days!

Here are some Paleo Challenge highlights:

  • 30 Day challenge – From Thursday 1/12 – 2/9
  • Orientation and initial seminar will be Saturday 1/7 @ 9:30a (Childcare provided)
  • All new seminars, now held on Thursday evenings @ 6:00
  • Team WOD competition follows all Thursdays’ seminars
  • Teams will be broken down by WOD class times, participants will sign up for teams
  • Before/After pictures will available upon request
  • Prizes for winning teams given at conclusion of challenge
  • Body comps will be done initially at seminar on 1/12/12
  • Body Comps will be taken by Max Muscle at their store on Helmsdale for those who cannot do it on the 12th
You will need to bring the following items to your seminars:
  1. Notebook for taking notes, and to keep a food journal during the challenge
  2. Pen or pencil to write stuff down…..you can’t remember it all, trust us…..
  3. A thirst for insane and compelling nutritional knowledge that could change your life!

Saturday, January 7, 2012 – 9:30 am - Dial in your nutrition for your specific body type with Dr. Tim Rogers of ChiroFit: Prepare for the Paleo Challenge – before pictures will be take on this day for those participants that are interested.
Thursday, January 12, 2012 – 6:15 pmCHALLENGE BEGINSBody Comp/Introduction to the Paleo Diet: “Leaning Out” – Interviews with CFM coaches who have had great success with the Paleo Diet Lifestyle
Thursday, January 19, 2012 – 6:15 pmPaleo Family/Couples style: interviews with families and couples who have made the Paleo diet a part of their family life.
Thursday, January 26, 2012 – 6:15 pmPaleo for Health Reasons/Getting off the Meds: personal stories of those who have used the assistance of the Paleo diet to overcome medical issues.
Thursday, February 2, 2012 – 6:15 pmHormone Rebalancing – interview with Dr. Tim Rogers of ChiroFit – After pictures will be taken today for those interested
Saturday, February 11, 2012 - Final Celebration: Hero WOD/Cookout
