I’m so excited to do this WOD that I can’t even sleep!!!!! While the past few weeks have been very emotional and difficult this past wknd did a few amazing things for me. Reflected what happens when good people work extemely hard to ask the very most of their bodies. This all driven by tremendous heart to represent this amazing community of people. Crossfit Maximus you have inspired me to have a different thought when my head comes off the pillow in the morning than in the previous 24 days. That thought will be the possibility of competing next year not to represent me but to represent us!!!! Xo for providing the joyfull spirit that has aided in the healing of a recently broken heart!

I just want to say congrats to our Kick Ass CFM team… Y’all have inspired me far beyond my original intentions to join a gym back last summer. I can honestly say that my perspective and outlook on fitness and health has completely changed over the last eight months. I just want to express to the rest of our CFM family, if you are able to make it to next round of CF games to cheer on our team, I highly recommend going. Not only was it a great time but to see all the crossfitters bust their asses, takes ones perspective to an entirely different level. I am truely thankful that I was able to make it this past weekend and support such devoted individuals. CFM… Rocked out the place!!

    Cool post Amy.

Congratulations to all of you guys from last weekend. Sharp and Bo are untouchable. Dieme clearly has “ant strength” with the speed that he ran with those sandbags. And Lincoln and Seth put their money where their mouth is, which is something we should all aspire to.

From the the CFM folks in the crowd, I heard that the ladies really rocked. Great job!

Dennis, Crossfit mainsite has a (free) video on Arnold at the deadlift burpee WOD.

This past weekend was awesome to say the least!!! A huge thanks goes out to everyone at CFM for the constant support. We could not have done it without you. A special thanks to the massive crowd that came up to support. It’s very encouraging to be able to look over into the crowd and see a pack of CFM shirts, and know that every single one of them is yelling for you.

Again, thank you to all for the constant encouragement. It’s amazing how a our box has become such a great community and how that positive energy transfers into stellar results for all the members.

Just keep in mind that impossible is nothing. I use to not be able to squat my bodyweight or do one single handstand pushup. Determination got me where I am today. But the majority of my gains have come in the past year due only to the great community at CFM. I’m still amazed at how much I can push myself when I have such great people to train with and from whom I receive encouragement.

    Thank you.

    Bo

I think one of the things that is hardest to quantify with CrossFit is how our fitness family causes everyone to push beyond what they thought was possible. I love seeing how our elite members push each other and continue to achieve the “impossible”. While I’m nowhere near those performance levels, I find that it motivates me to continue pushing myself. Many times I find myself studying Bo and Sharp and others as they WOD and taking note of their efficiency and form. I watched Bo doing overhead squats one night and paid close attention to his feet. He drove through the heels on every single rep and his toes were off the ground. That’s impressive! I hope we can all continue to use our elite members as rabbits to pull us all along and better ourselves and I hope they continue to push each other to new levels. I’m glad to be a part of this group!

  12. Kellie says:

This past weekend was truly inspiring!!! I was so proud of all those that represented CFM and pushed themselves above and beyond the limit. It was a true testament as to what the human body can do. I’m sure CFM will rock out regionals in May!!!

This is the first step in your many rounds of competition. May your mind, body, and spirit carry you to a personal best. Run swift, lift strong, and KICK A$$!
