Regional Buying Clubs

Buying clubs are groups of individuals and families who receive monthly delivery of bulk orders at a designated location and time. While there is no membership fee, a delivery charge of 25 cents per pound is added, regardless of order size. To avoid confusion, the same location is used each month, typically at a residence or workplace, at the designated time. Orders are placed via e-mail or telephone.

Orders arrive presorted by family. The process of exchanging with all the families takes 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of the club. If the number of families grows too large to be accommodated by the drop-off location, a second location will the started. By meeting at centralized locations, fewer people drive a long distance, reducing the “carbon footprint.” Buying clubs offer convenience and are helpful to the environment.
