“Training for a fight by running twenty minutes everyday makes perfect sense if you plan on running away from your opponent and know you will be getting a ten minute headstart.”

Nice shot, Seth!!! You should give us a seminar on what you learned from all those great people!!!
Got this quote over my desk. I point to it when any police officer talks about running alone to help them at their job.
Second desk quote “Terrorist do bicep curls…don’t be a terrorist.”
Hahaha, that is hilarious, Monkey!
Matt – your quotes remind me of that US Marshals Service poster with the guy wearing a “U.S. Pen” shirt doing lat pull-downs. Under the pic it says: “Every day you don’t work out…someone else does!”. Have you seen that one. If you’ve ever mixed it up with a fugitive, it’s pretty darn motivational.
Another favorite:
“Typically the worlds best athletes are minimalists when it comes to their training. They work hard and fast with few exercises. They master the fundamentals and work with them for years. This is the secret that no one wants to hear.”
- Greg Glassman
True words: I can count the number of people I have seen who have an acceptable squat with one hand.
And of course I am not one of them. After over a year, I am finally getting the hip strength, flexibility, depth, and knees out position so that I can squat w/o patellar pain.
Can someone please move to Bangalore and set up a CF so that I have someone to workout with
? Fitness is just starting to catch on and different gym concepts are exploding here… could be something big! Miss you all!
Matt, are you calling boot campers terroists? We did bicep curls the other day! LOL!
Article on barefoot running:
http://wbztv.com/local/running.barefoot.study.2.1452494.html
Finished at 155×5 and 5:07 on the row.
135×5 and 4:43 row. Closest I’ve been to visiting Pukie in awhile. Sharp you forgot to mention you did 5 sets of 18 pull ups C->B unbroken.
I barefoot jog a bit on my own treadmill…does this mean crossfit will allow my toes to air out in the gym? You all would be in for a funky surprise.LoL!:)
Somewhat relevant article re knee pain since McKenzie is the Crossfit Endurance guru. Balance out the quads. Knees are better since the Vibrams too:

Tks Freeman, I like to share some cool sh++ in between jokes. Jonesin’ for a CFM workout though.
Who is the Paul Dz guy? I wonder if he will ever actually come into the gym!
