After many requests we have decided to reschedule the CF Maximus Mock Qualifier II.

It is scheduled for Saturday January 16th; 3 events will be posted on thursday before the Qualifier.

  1. Yeah Paul, I would think that you need to ease into those things. I’ve just now really gotten used to running in these frees for long distances, and Vibrams are worse I’m sure. Still, you could split the difference…run the first mile and then row the last.

  2. Hope you all come out for the party tonight. Let me know if you have any questions about it. We will eat, drink and be merry!! (And you will not be allowed on the equipment, so don’t even try it ;o)

  3. for years i’ve believed that I’m twice as strong when i’m drinking. now i can put it to the test.

  4. Dulled pain receptors and a “no fear” attitude for attempting new things are a definite plus.

  5. I wonder how many beers must be consumed before the arms stop responding quickly enough to catch your body during a burpee? Anyone want to find out?

    Thanks for pointing that out Paul. I’d hate for young Elizabeth to learn that you beat me by 2 minutes on the wod, and it took me so long to finish that Kelli had to start the post wod stretch as soon as I hit STOP on the treadmill (but she did bring me the bucket just in case, thanks!). If I eat more fish oil, i think I’ll be up there with Spealler on the runs…
